My Evie.

Wow.

My girl is a mother now. And I have no doubt she’s a fantastic mom.

I knew right away when I saw those delicate stretch marks on her sexy belly. Her tits, always yummy, are bigger and heavier now too.

And that ass? Still fine as fine can be.

Of course, it bothers me somewhat that another man put a child in her belly. But not for my own sake, or the sake of my ego. It’s not like she cheated.

No. It’s because I was too much of a fool to do it myself first.

But I’ll be fucked if that’s going to stop me.

As if such trifling things could ever turn me away from her.

She was simply serious about what she wanted and I was too blind and arrogant to see that.

She still has that same honesty and directness. That same devil-may-care confidence, that same unwavering self-acceptance that is so alluring, so attractive.

Her body is still a wonderland to me. But she’s so much more than a body. Her spirit, her fire, her softness, her acceptance. Her love.

That’s what makes her sexy to me. Heh. I wonder if she really has any idea exactly how sexy she is to me.

Having her back in my arms made me feel whole again. Relaxed. Happy. Motivated.

Life is worth living again suddenly.

Even if she ends up mad at me for tricking her like this…it was worth it if she’s back in my life.

But there’s work to be done first. I need to find out how to proceed.

Now that I know what happened to her, I need to send out some feelers by email. First, ask some people I know in law enforcement to confirm what Evie’s contact in the FBI has been telling her.

I should have enough information already from what she’s told me. It will all be in their database.

Next, I’ll have to talk to my lawyer. Find out how to get the ball rolling on the situation I have in mind.

Back in my room now, I compose my emails and mark them urgent. I expect to receive a response to my enquiries first thing in the morning.

Now that I know for sure that she still loves me, I’m ready to put the next part of my plan into action.

Quickly, I send another email to a supplier of a certain type of item right here on the island.

Only two days to get this right.

My plans set, I get ready to hit the sack. Just as I turn off the light, my phone dings a notification.

It’s some photos of Ashley, from Evlin.

The child is cute. And, tall for her age. Dark hair braided in cornrows, huge dark eyes looking at the camera soberly.

She’s the spitting image of her momma.

Smiling, I turn over and go to sleep.
